I was really hesitant to stay at an RV Resort located by a casino because I worried about noise but this place is great. We found the RV Resort quiet, clean, and simply beautiful. They must have spent a lot of money to make this place because I felt like no detail was left out. The swimming pool and spa facility were gorgeous. They had a workout room with really nice equipment. The resort itself had lots of landscaping, the sites were wide, paved, and felt so private. We were the only ones in a section of the resort and felt like we were in the woods somewhere. We could not see the casino from the RV Resort but there was a free shuttle that went there. I can't think of anything they could do to improve this place. I thought the price of under $34 per night was really low because other RV resorts that offer all the amenities this place did, charge at least $50 per night. The rate was based on us getting a free players card at the casino, as well as a Sam's Club discount. We loved it here and would come back again in a heartbeat.
We really liked this RV Resort. Some of the reasons were because of the close proximity to Haystack Rock, it was a short walk and there was a road that went under the busy 101 freeway so it was a comfortable, safe walk. There was also a free shuttle that would take you into town right from the front of the RV Resort but we did not mind the walk at all. We also like the paved roads throughout the park which was great for riding bikes. The kids really liked the heated indoor pool and spa. We were in Site 52 which was a corner site backing to the playground which worked out perfectly for our three young boys. The site was wide and very quiet much to our surprise because we figured being right by the only road to enter and exit the RV resort would be constantly loud, but it was not the case at all. We were surprised how full the campground was, with 100 sites, I think I counted two available sites the whole weekend yet despite how full it was, the campground was very quiet and clean. We also commented on how everyone staying here, as well as working here were extremely friendly. Another positive to me was the free Wi-Fi. The signal was excellent and worked great the entire time. The only not so positive thing were how tight some of the sites were. In the evening we walked the entire RV resort and some of the streets were packed full of tow vehicles parked every which direction, the sites themselves looked close together. I could not imagine driving our motorhome down some of the streets without scraping a parked car. Some of the turns were also pretty sharp. Overall it was a really positive stay and we would definitely go back.
We camped here for the long Labor Day weekend. We had a good time at this RV resort. The cable TV worked okay, about 14 channels but some were really fuzzy. Free Wi-Fi which was nice. We must have had one of the few sites that had no trees, although we were right by the playground which my boys enjoyed. Some sites really looked private and quiet backing into trees. It rained so the RV resort got pretty muddy as it is not paved. The sites were with gravel and pretty level, ours had a pretty good distance between our neighbor. The bathrooms and showers were clean. I had to use the laundry room because my boys got so muddy and there was only one working washing machine, only cost $1, same with the dryers (there were two) but it took a couple of times to dry my clothes completely. I think we would return here if in the area. We drove through some of the other RV resorts nearby like the KOA and Jedediah Smith and this RV resort is very comparable, if not better.
We stayed here for three nights because of it's proximity to Disneyland. We could see the fireworks every night from our site and the Anaheim shuttle had a stop right at the RV resort. The cost of $71 per night was for a pull-through site plus the extra charge for our three kids. This RV resort was okay: it was clean, paved, the sites were decent sized with a picnic table and the owners were so friendly and helpful. I did think it was a little bit pricey for what it offered but I think everything around Disneyland is expensive. If going to Disneyland again, I would most likely come back here.
We loved this place and were so impressed by it. We really liked how the sites were terraced so you never felt like you had a neighbor right next to you. There is a lot of mature landscaping, so the RV resort is really pretty. The on-site manager was very friendly and helpful to us. We arrived after hours and he quickly showed up to help us get checked in, drove us to the site, made sure we were set up before leaving. The site was really wide and long so we never had to unhitch our tow vehicle. If in the area, we are definitely staying here again.
We were impressed with the size of our campsite. We traveled in a 35-foot RV and had enough space for another vehicle and the site was very wide. There were a lot of mature trees and landscaping which made the campsite much more attractive. Checking in was easy, and the staff was friendly. My boys really enjoyed the swimming pool. There are lots of trails to ride bikes on or go for a walk. We were really happy with this place and would come back again.
This RV resort is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly but and it is a big but, they have a major ant problem here! Upon check-in they kindly informed us that Escondido was built on an ant hill so to place Comet around our tires and Vaseline around the water hose to prevent ants. Well naturally I did not have any Vaseline or Comet with me, so we decided later to go get some at the store. By the time we returned a couple of hours later, there were ants, and I mean many ants already in our motorhome, on our bed! It was awful! I suggested they carry some at the front desk for guest use instead of telling us to go get some. Just for this reason alone, we would not come back here. We had a Elite site on the upper level and it was nice, the RV resort is nice, great pool, spa, laundry facilities but an ant problem!
What a surprise this RV Resort was! After a long day of driving we arrived after 10pm in Lodi and saw this RV Resort when deciding to eat nearby. We were so impressed by the staff who were so friendly and helpful to us even though it was after hours. The park is so clean, the bathrooms are spotless, the pool and spa were wonderful. This is a great RV Resort! Even though it's close to I-5, the place is very quiet. We would stay here again.
This place is just OK. The sites are all gravel and really close together. We found it tough to get around to our site in our 35-foot motorhome. A lot of permanent residents there. The bathrooms while somewhat clean are really outdated and half the time the toilets did not flush. Some of the positives are the close location to everything. Minutes from the Northridge Mall, lots of places to eat nearby. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. I do not think I would return here. I thought it was expensive for what it offered. Although there are not many options in the area.
We loved this KOA. We got a premier site and were very satisfied with it. The place is very clean, had fun free activities like making smores, an ice-cream social, movie night etc. Our three kids enjoying the three playgrounds, bouncing pillow and swimming pool. We would go back here in a heartbeat!
